"I have learnt that my voice is clearer when I am still. I truly cherish this time with my family, and my new goal is to slow down and shed stressful things from my life," she expressed. "I came into the music industry at 15 years old and grew up with the world watching, and I have put out projects non-stop. I released Lemonade during the Formation World Tour, gave birth to twins, performed at Coachella, directed Homecoming, went on another world tour with Jay, then Black Is King, all back to back. It's been heavy and hectic."
"I've spent a lot of time focusing on building my legacy and representing my culture the best way I know how," she continued. "Now, I've decided to give myself permission to focus on my joy."

The live streamed event put on by T-Mobile took place at The Beverly Hilton hotel and also featured a slew of guests watching live from the balconies.

The singer released a new music video for her song, "Let Me Reintroduce Myself" on Friday. And while the video is new, long-time fans will appreciate the many throwback ensembles sported by the singer throughout — some of which pay homage to Stefani's most notable looks worn throughout her career.
The video begins with a masked Stefani, 51, getting her hair and makeup done in a backstage setting before calling producer Steve Bermani to say she needed "more money" to make the video even better.
The music video goes on to offer a nostalgic journey through Stefani's closet, with the pop icon dressing up in a number of her most iconic looks from years past.
In scenes throughout the video, which sees Stefani interacting with various versions of herself, the songstress can be seen dressed in a number of outfits from her No Doubt days. Wearing a white v-neck tank top, oversized blue pants, face crystals, and bright red lipstick mirrors from the 1995 "Just a Girl" music video, Stefani looks nearly identical to her younger self.

In another scene, Stefani sports blue hair and a fuzzy blue bra top — a mirror image of what she wore on the red carpet at the 1998 MTV Video Music Awards.

She also brings back a polka-dotted dress reminiscent of the one worn in the 1996 music video for "Don't Speak," this time pairing it with fringed boots.

“Lеt me re—, let me reintroduce myself / Case you forgot, no, I’m not records on your shelf,” Stefani sings in the chorus. "I’m still the original-riginal old me, yeah, Original-riginal old me / So let me re—, let me reintroduce myself, yeah."
Prior to the video's debut on Friday, Stefani took to Instagram to show a comparison of how she appears in the video versus how she appeared in the 1990s, with her take on the "How it started vs. How it's going" meme.
Stefani also performed the song live on NBC's New Year’s Eve on Thursday, wearing a bedazzled and fringed denim ensemble.
"Let Me Reintroduce Myself" is Stefani’s first solo non-holiday release since the 2016 album, "This Is What The Truth Feels Like."
Since then, she's released a collection of holiday songs and collaborations, including some with her fiancé Blake Shelton. The duo collaborated on "Nobody But You" — which hit No. 1 on Billboard's Country Airplay chart —"Happy Anywhere," and "Go Ahead and Break My Heart" from Shelton's 2016 If I'm Honest album. This past holiday season, they released the holiday song "You Make It Feel Like Christmas"
Shelton, 44, proposed in October while the couple was on vacation to the country star's Oklahoma ranch, where they are currently building a house.
In a recent appearance on the Bobby Bones Show, Shelton shared that he had hidden the ring in his pickup truck for weeks prior to popping the question.
"The only thing I had planned, Bobby, was that I knew I wanted to do it in Oklahoma while all her kids were there," Shelton told the radio host. "I didn't want to take her away or do something private away from the kids. I felt it was important for the kids to be a part of that moment, so that's what I did. I had the ring for a couple weeks; maybe 2½ weeks."
The two had been dating for five years after falling in love on the set of The Voice in 2015. An industry source recently told PEOPLE that Stefani has been "floating on air" since the proposal.

The ageless beauty took to Instagram on Wednesday -- a day before her performance on "New Year's Rockin’ Eve" -- to strut her stuff in an outfit fit for a princess.

The ex-“Bachelor” announced that he and Flanagan were splitting up in a lengthy Instagram message on New Year’s Eve.
“Love is a funny thing,” the 29-year-old pilot captioned a photo of the pair on a hike, looking at the sunset. “It can make you feel on top of the world and it can make you feel a pain you wish didn’t exist. I’m here to share that Kelley and I have decided to go our separate ways.”
He explained that their relationship just didn’t work out.
“Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for. Someone I have learned more from than she will ever understand. Someone I am so thankful came into my life and someone who I will always wish all of life’s greatest blessings on,” he continued. “These moments in life always hurt, but in my opinion that shows you it was worth the time you spent together. Thank you Kelley.”
Flanagan, 28, has yet to comment on the split.
Flanagan came in fifth on Weber’s season of the hit ABC dating show in 2020. Weber proposed to model Hannah Ann Sluss, but ultimately ended their engagement due to feelings he still had for runner-up Madison Prewett.
In August, Weber posted an Instagram about the night he met Flanagan alongside a video of people dancing.
“A year ago today I met this one in a hotel lobby,” he wrote. “We danced the night away and then went our separate ways. I truly didn’t know if I’d see her again. This life is beautiful, beautiful. Let’s see what’s next ❤️ @kelleyflanagan.”
With most folks staying home for New Year’s Eve this year because of the ongoing pandemic, so many more eyes than usual were on the NYE TV specials. And CNN capitalized on the moment, dominating the social media discourse by having Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen get drunk on air.
There weren’t any crowds in Times Square this year, but otherwise these New Year’s Eve specials proceeded as usual. It created a strange mood for the evening, and Cooper and Cohen very effectively tapped into the vibe of the country by throwing back tequila shots on TV, while everyone at home did the same.
Cooper and Cohen started the party at 8 p.m. ET, with their first shots of the night. And, well, it seemed like Anderson probably could have used a chaser.
And things escalated from there as they continued drinking throughout the night. Some of the highlights included Stephen Colbert calling in to do a shot with Cooper and Cohen remotely, and a visit from Snoop Dogg in which the rapper discussed various public places he’s gotten high at — a conversation that had Cooper laughing hysterically. And let’s not forget the shade Cohen threw at New York City mayor Bill de Blasio.
That tweet above from CJ Fogler is the start of a thread of videos of Cooper and Cohen tossing back shots, so if you want more of those videos, that’s a good place to start.

Who is Anderson Cooper talking about? The current resident of the White House perhaps? I'm not saying that but many other people are pic.twitter.com/epMtb3BMvE
I watched every episode of Tiger King, Breaking Bad, Better Caul Saul, The Crown, Queens Gambit – yet with two hours left, this is the finest moment of television in 2020.
It is CRIMINAL that we have to wait a whole YEAR to see @Andy and @andersoncooper get drunk together on TV every year. It’s the event I need at least once a week. Make it so.
This is not the first time that Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper have spent New Year’s Eve getting drunk live on CNN, though this is a pretty recent tradition. Given the rousing reception this spectacle received this year — the show was trending on Twitter all evening and well into the morning — it’s likely that it’s a tradition that is here to stay.
It’s a formula that makes sense, particularly for a year as unfun as 2020. There are few things a celebrity could do these days that could be more relatable to viewers than getting drunk.
