Everybody Loved Watching Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen Get Drunk for New Year’s - TheWrap

With most folks staying home for New Year’s Eve this year because of the ongoing pandemic, so many more eyes than usual were on the NYE TV specials. And CNN capitalized on the moment, dominating the social media discourse by having Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen get drunk on air.

There weren’t any crowds in Times Square this year, but otherwise these New Year’s Eve specials proceeded as usual. It created a strange mood for the evening, and Cooper and Cohen very effectively tapped into the vibe of the country by throwing back tequila shots on TV, while everyone at home did the same.

Cooper and Cohen started the party at 8 p.m. ET, with their first shots of the night. And, well, it seemed like Anderson probably could have used a chaser.

And things escalated from there as they continued drinking throughout the night. Some of the highlights included Stephen Colbert calling in to do a shot with Cooper and Cohen remotely, and a visit from Snoop Dogg in which the rapper discussed various public places he’s gotten high at — a conversation that had Cooper laughing hysterically. And let’s not forget the shade Cohen threw at New York City mayor Bill de Blasio.

That tweet above from CJ Fogler is the start of a thread of videos of Cooper and Cohen tossing back shots, so if you want more of those videos, that’s a good place to start.

Who is Anderson Cooper talking about? The current resident of the White House perhaps? I'm not saying that but many other people are pic.twitter.com/epMtb3BMvE

I watched every episode of Tiger King, Breaking Bad, Better Caul Saul, The Crown, Queens Gambit – yet with two hours left, this is the finest moment of television in 2020.

To be fair, drunk Anderson Cooper is the best way to ring in 2021 #CNNNYE

— Hugo Lowell (@hugolowell) January 1, 2021

It is CRIMINAL that we have to wait a whole YEAR to see @Andy and @andersoncooper get drunk together on TV every year. It’s the event I need at least once a week. Make it so.

ARE YALL WATCHING ANDERSON COOPER AND ANDY COHEN LMFAO

— Ivy Park Beam (@ScottieBeam) January 1, 2021

This is not the first time that Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper have spent New Year’s Eve getting drunk live on CNN, though this is a pretty recent tradition. Given the rousing reception this spectacle received this year — the show was trending on Twitter all evening and well into the morning — it’s likely that it’s a tradition that is here to stay.

It’s a formula that makes sense, particularly for a year as unfun as 2020. There are few things a celebrity could do these days that could be more relatable to viewers than getting drunk.

Ex-‘Bachelor’ Peter Weber, fifth-place Kelley Flanagan split: ‘Our relationship simply didn’t work out’ - Fox News

The third time is not the charm for this couple.

Peter Weber and Kelley Flanagan, who placed fifth on his season of "The Bachelor," have split.

"Love is a funny thing," Weber, 29, wrote in an Instagram post that showed the pair overlooking a sunset. "It can make you feel on top of the world and it can make you feel a pain you wish didn’t exist. I’m here to share that Kelley and I have decided to go our separate ways."

"While our relationship was filled with countless beautiful memories, our relationship simply didn’t work out in the end," the airline pilot continued about his split from the lawyer. "Kelley is someone I will always have a special love for. Someone I have learned more from than she will ever understand. Someone I am so thankful came into my life and someone who I will always wish all of life’s greatest blessings on."

Weber concluded: "These moments in life always hurt, but in my opinion that shows you it was worth the time you spent together."

The reality star, commonly known as "Pilot Pete," issued a final, "Thank you Kelley."

The former pair have posted about each other on their respective social media accounts as recently as Dec. 8 in photos that appear to have been snapped during the same photoshoot.

Fans of the uber-popular "Bachelor" nation franchise will recall Weber’s split with Season 24 winner Hannah Ann Sluss before he rebounded with season runner-up Madison Prewett.

A rumor had even swirled near the end of the season that Weber would actually end up with one of the show's producers.

Weber -- conflicted in his love: "proposed to Sluss during the finale rose ceremony on "The Bachelor," but he ended the engagement a month later because he still had feelings for Prewett.

The two Weber exes even solidified bestie-status in July at a picnic "date night" overlooking the California coastline.

"On a date.. kinda nervous," Prewett captioned her Instagram image with Sluss.

Meanwhile, it was also in July that the Weber and Flanagan announced they’d be moving in together – and Weber’s mother Barbra even raved to show host Chris Harrison about Flanagan’s relationship with her son, calling it "a dream come true."

"I love her. I love her so much," Barbra wrote. "We get along so great."

Kim Kardashian Jokes Son Saint West “Still Looks Cute” After He Cuts His Hair - Yahoo Entertainment

Saint West is heading into 2021 with a brand new 'do!

The 5-year-old son of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West decided to give himself a New Year's haircut and chopped off some of his own hair on Thursday, Dec. 31, much to his mom's chagrin.

On her Instagram Story, Kim shared some smiling photos of Saint with his new hairstyle and joked that he "still looks cute tho." One pic showed a lock of his curly hair next to the pair of red kid's scissors that did the deed.

Saint celebrated his 5th birthday earlier this month at the Alpine Estate in Lake Tahoe during a Kardashian family vacay. In his honor, the SKIMS founder wished her "baby" a happy bday, saying, "One of my life's soul mates. Every year I interview my kids and ask them the same exact questions about life. Saint- I can't wait to see how you've grown and how you answers [sic] these questions as a 5 year old and show them to you when you're big."

Saint West's Cutest Brother Moments

She threw a drive-by party because of the coronavirus pandemic, admitting it wasn't "ideal." The reality star added on Insta, "You are always so joyful and bring so much joy into my soul every single day. You will always be my baby boy. Enjoy your golden bday this year Sainty!"

Back in September, her eldest son proved he's really the chillest of the family when he radiated IDGAF vibes during a West family photoshoot.

The Kardashian clan more recently rang in the holiday season with an at-home Christmas party alongside their closest relatives. Naturally, Kim outdid herself in a green "six pack" couture look that only she could pull off.

The mom of four is spending a lot of time apart from her husband these days, as she and Kanye continue to co-parent Saint as well as North West, 7, Chicago West, 2, and Pslam West, 19 months.

"Kim and Kanye are doing their own thing," the source told E! News two weeks ago, saying the parents are each "focused on the things that are important to them."

We learned, "[Kim] is doing her thing and [Kanye] is doing his. She doesn't micromanage it or worry about it too much... She lets him go off and be who he is. It is what it is."

Justin Bieber Enters 2021 By Entering the Ring In His New Year’s New ‘Anyone’ Video - Vulture

As promised, Justin Bieber has dropped not simply a new single, but a music video in which the singer squares up to fight, a fitting tribute to everyone who had their ass absolutely kicked by 2020. Bieber dropped the track and accompanying video at midnight, January 1, after premiering it during his T-Mobile Presents New Year’s Eve Live With Justin Bieber on Thursday night. “Oh yeah I’m performing my new single #ANYONE during #BieberNYE, tomorrow night“ he tweeted Wednesday.

The video, directed by Colin Tilley, has the singer going full Rocky for Zoey Deutch’s Adrian, running on the beach, drinking raw eggs, falling in love, and, of course, walloping his opponent. “I can’t think of a better way to close out 2020 and kick off 2021 than celebrating with my fans all over the world and sharing this new music with them,” Bieber said in a news release posted by Billboard. “Music has gotten us all through so much this year, and for me personally it’s been healing and transformative.” Check out the “Anyone” music video below.
